PRACTICE
Based in East London, we have delivered projects not only in the capital and the Home Counties but as far afield as Wales and the West Country for both individual and corporate clients.
Over the years we have built up a network of talented and reliable tradespeople that we are happy to recommend. Working closely together with the client and the workforce we aim to ensure that everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
Natural Practice developed organically from being a research group focused on the testing and adaptation of low carbon building technologies to being able to offer a complete range of architectural services. Our approach is holistic in the original sense. “Seeing both the forest and the trees, and how they relate to each other.”
Our success has followed naturally from focusing equally on three things. These are concern for the locality, concern for the wider environment and of course for the client, to guide our decision-making process.
“We’ve had the pleasure of working with Natural Practice and would highly recommend them. They are professional, creative, and easy to work with, with a clear attention to detail throughout the design and construction process. A great architect to collaborate with.”
PROCESS
The process is actually very simple.
Natural Practice offers a complete range of architectural services from concept to completion. For the client, a well-insulated, low carbon building means a warm environment with low heating costs. Less energy use means less air pollution in the locality and lower carbon emissions overall.
Similarly, locally sourced materials saves transport costs for the client, contributes to the local economy and reduces the overall carbon footprint.
Another example would be the use of natural and reclaimed materials, which can be not only cheaper for the client; they also ensure that the building is in sympathy with its setting while reducing industrial waste.
In line with this policy we use the latest technology to speed up the design process and visualise our projects, and video conferencing to reduce costly site visits for the client, which reduces unnecessary travel, traffic and carbon emissions.
These principles have helped us deliver projects that delight the client and enhance the community without impacting the wider environment.
